The Chillicothe Board of Public Works accepted one bid and rejected another as part of their meeting. CMU General Manager Matt Hopper says they had requested bids for a Reverse Osmosis System for the Electric Generating Plant.
Bid of $191,308.
Hopper says the bid was higher than their budgeted amount. The bid was rejected, and they will review the bid specs. He says the current system is working, but it is more than 20 years old.
The second bid was for the Wastewater Treatment Plant asphalt overlay.
Replace 30,000 sq/ft of pavement for $68,112.93.
That project will start after all paperwork is received and approved.
