A car versus semi crash Sunday in DeKalb County left one driver and her passenger dead. State Troopers in DeKalb County report the crash occurred Sunday at about 11:53 am on US 36 near Osborn. According to the report, a 42-year-old Chillicothe woman was eastbound on US 36, when a semi driven by a 44-year-old Renton, WA man was northbound on Missouri 33 and began crossing US 36. The car struck the trailer of the semi. The driver and her passenger, a 43-year-old man from St. Joseph, died at the scene of the crash.
The truck driver was not injured.
