Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Friday through Sunday includes 161 calls for service.

Weekend incidents included a DUI arrest following a traffic stop at Washington Street and Business 36 early Saturday morning. Officers also investigated a juvenile disturbance Friday night on Bryan Street after a 17-year-old allegedly shoved his 15-year-old sister, causing a minor injury and making threats toward family members.

On Sunday, police responded to two domestic disturbances. In one case on Calhoun Street, officers investigated reports that a man had pushed a woman from a vehicle. Later that afternoon, officers were called to Clay Street after multiple 911 callers reported a physical altercation involving a man and woman. A man was taken into custody and later released with a citation after officers gathered witness statements.

Other weekend activity included a theft complaint, harassment reports, custody disputes, a non-injury traffic accident, and a warrant service. Officers also assisted with a mental health crisis Sunday night after a woman reported plans of self-harm. Officers safely resolved the situation and connected the individual with assistance.

Police also conducted numerous traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and follow-up investigations throughout the weekend.
