The Weekend Chillicothe Police report includes numerous incidents and investigations. There were 218 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.
Among the most significant incidents, officers arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant following a domestic disturbance Friday morning. Over the weekend, police also investigated a delayed child abuse report, seized suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia from a vacant residence, and took reports of a stolen license plate and several property damage incidents, with those investigations continuing.
Saturday night, officers made arrests for minor in possession of alcohol and driving while intoxicated. Early Sunday, another driver was arrested for DWI. Later Sunday, a traffic stop led to the arrest of a suspended driver and a passenger after officers allegedly found controlled substances. A subsequent search warrant at the driver’s residence resulted in the seizure of additional suspected drugs and a firearm.
Police also responded to several domestic disturbances, custody and civil disputes, and continued routine traffic enforcement and business checks throughout the weekend.
