Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed numerous bills into law that were sent to him at the end of the Legislative Session.
Senate Bill 975 – sponsored by Senator Rusty Black, modifies provisions relating to ambulance districts. This allows for changes in the makeup of the District Board if certain conditions are met. It also allows for Ambulance Districts to consolidate if approved by the boards and voters.
Six Economic Development Bills were signed by the Governor. This includes Senate Bill 1576, sponsored on the House side by Representative Peggy McGaugh, which establishes the Missouri Ireland Trade Commission to strengthen trade, investment, and educational and cultural partnerships between Missouri and Ireland.
