The MoDOT roadwork in the local counties for the week of July 20th includes moving operations, such as mowing, brush cutting, and litter removal. There are also several bridge and bridge deck replacement projects. Scheduled work in the local counties includes:
Carroll County
Route D – ADA sidewalk improvements in Norborne through July.
Chariton County
Route E – ADA sidewalk improvements in Rothville through July.
Daviess County
Route C – Resurfacing project through July 31. The roadway may be CLOSED or narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Grundy County
Route B – Bridge maintenance at the bridge over Muddy Creek, July 20-23. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane with temporary traffic signals guiding motorists through the work zone.
Linn County
US 36 – Scrub seal project from Route 139 to the Macon County line, through mid-August.
US 36 – Concrete replacement from Route 11 to the Macon County line, July 20-23. The roadway will be narrowed to one lane in each direction around-the-clock.
Sullivan County
Route 5 – Resurfacing project from US 136 east of Unionville to Route 6 north of Milan through July. The road will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone.
