The Chillicothe R-II School Board meeting included a report on the district’s finances by the Superintendent, Dr. Dan Wiebers. He talked about the closing of the 2025/26 fiscal year budget.
An increase of $147,269 over the previous year.
He says the district received 102.6% of the budgeted revenues. They also had 102.7% of budgeted expenditures. He explained part of that was to pay off debt early.
A prepayment on the debt.
That payment was to put the district in a better financial position.
