More than 200 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday through Sunday.
Friday: Officers investigated a report of a driver on Highway 36 who was unable to maintain a lane and nearly struck several vehicles. Police also responded to two separate verbal domestic disturbances, took a report of threatening text messages, and are investigating a theft after surveillance video showed a person picking up a lost wallet and removing cash. Officers also checked on suspicious individuals at a local dealership and later searched for a suspicious person reported at a Graves Street business.
Saturday: Officers made three traffic-stop arrests involving drivers without valid licenses. Two warrant service attempts were also conducted at residences on Cowgill and Madison streets.
Sunday: Police responded to two separate domestic disturbance calls. In both cases, the incidents were determined to be verbal in nature, the parties were separated under Missouri’s 12-hour domestic violence rule, and one report was completed.
