MoDOT staff and regional planning partners across the state have developed a list of $4.7 billion of high-priority unfunded road and bridge “needs.” The projects are divided into three tiers. The first tier includes $541 million of projects that could be accomplished within the current five-year Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) as federal and state funding becomes available.
The public may review the list and provide feedback on the order of priorities and additional work that could be funded in the future.
A meeting to discuss the draft High-Priority Unfunded Needs list in scheduled in Chillicothe on Wednesday, August 12th, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Home of Sliced Bread Welcome Center.
