Three Chillicothe teens were injured in a crash with an animal in the roadway. State Troopers report the crash occurred Sunday at about 11:28 pm, as a 16-year-old girl was northbound on US 65 near Avalon when they struck the animal with their SUV. The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and a boulder before coming to rest. The driver had moderate injuries, and her passengers, two 18-year-old girls, had minor injuries. They were all treated at Hedrick Medical Center. They were not wearing safety belts.
