The City of Trenton and the North Missouri Solid Waste Management District – Region-B, will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Saturday, September 12th.
The collection will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) at the Trenton Street Department, at 1900 E. 16th Street in Trenton. This is safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of hazardous household materials.
This event will NOT include the disposal of latex paint. To safely dispose of latex paint at home, residents should open the cans, add cat litter or a commercial paint hardener to solidify the liquid, and once completely dried out, place the hardened cans in with regular household trash.
