Eighty-three calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.
Officers responded to several welfare and mental health-related calls. At Hedrick Medical Center, officers assisted with a person experiencing a mental health crisis, while another person on Park Lane voluntarily agreed to be evaluated for mental health concerns.
Officers investigated a report of a missing juvenile on Third Street. The juvenile was located and returned home, with the report being forwarded to the Juvenile Office.
At midday, a welfare check was conducted in the 1500 block of Locust Street, where officers located a deceased individual. The Livingston County Coroner was notified. The death did not appear suspicious.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and followed up on several investigations.
