The Chillicothe Area Christian Builders is the recipient of a grant to assist in their mission to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing in the community. Tony Figg with Chillicothe Area Christian Builders talked about the funds received.
$100,000 from Investors Community Bank.
While the organization receives donations of both funds and property, the grant will help with both supplies and property.
Figg says they will be having an application meeting this fall.
Three things required – Need, Ability to pay, and Willingness to partner.
