The Missouri Department of Transportation roadwork for the coming week includes several ongoing bridge and bridge deck replacement projects. In the area counties, other work on the schedule includes:
Caldwell County
US 36 – Scrub Seal Operations on US 36 in Caldwell and DeKalb County will begin Thursday. Work will be in the westbound lanes from Route 31 to Route 33, and eastbound lanes from Hedge Road to the Caldwell County Line.
Carroll County
Route M – CLOSED daily for resurfacing project from U.S. Route 65 in Carroll County to Route 11,
Route WW – CLOSED daily for resurfacing project from Route 65 in Carroll County to Route YY in Chariton County,
Routes D, K, and FF – Pothole patching, all week.
Daviess County
Route C – Resurfacing project all week. The roadway may be CLOSED or narrowed to one lane with flaggers.
Route A – Pothole patching from Route Z to Route P, Aug. 24-26.
Grundy County
Route Y – Pothole patching in various locations, Aug. 24-28.
Linn County
US 36 – Scrub seal project from Route 139 to the Macon County line, through August 2026.
Route Y – CLOSED for a culvert replacement from Deer Road to Argo Road, on Monday.
Livingston County
US 65 – ADA sidewalk improvements in Chillicothe through mid-September 2026.
Route C – CLOSED in various locations for multiple culvert replacements, Thursday and Friday.
Sullivan County
Route 5 – Resurfacing project from US 136 east of Unionville to Route 6 north of Milan through August 2026.
Route E – Resurfacing project through Sept. 2.
Route 139 – Pothole patching in various locations, all week.
