Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 110 calls for service on Tuesday.

Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity shortly after midnight on Polk Street involving a man carrying several bags. Police determined he was moving out of his residence, and no criminal activity was found.

A careless-driver complaint on Highway 36 involved a van that was reportedly having difficulty staying in its lane. Officers located the vehicle and found the driver had pulled over because of a mechanical problem. No impairment was observed.

Police also responded to a noise complaint on Webster Street, two separate well-being checks, and a verbal disturbance outside a business on Locust Street. The disturbance was resolved at the scene.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and followed up on several investigations.
