Chillicothe Police responded to 120 calls for service Monday, including traffic accidents, property damage, and an attempted break-in.
Officers investigated an attempted break-in at a business drop box in the 200 block of Business 36 Highway. The drop box sustained extensive damage, and the same suspects are believed to have attempted thefts at several other area businesses early Monday morning. Police obtained video of the suspects and their vehicle, and the case remains under investigation.
Two separate two-vehicle accidents were reported. One crash was at Graves and Green Streets, while the other was on South Washington. No injuries were reported, with everyone involved refusing medical treatment.
Officers also handled a wrong-way driver report, a trespassing complaint, a disturbance involving loud music, reports of several vehicles egged, an outside-agency investigation involving an active warrant, and a welfare check.
