The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 107 calls for service on Tuesday.
Early Tuesday morning, officers responded to the 400 block of Webster Street for a traffic hazard and found a tree blocking the entire roadway. The tree was removed and the road reopened.
Officers also investigated suspicious activity at a storage facility on Washington Street, but no one was found.
Around 12:53 p.m., officers and Chillicothe EMS responded to a choking infant in the 1000 block of First Street. The infant was treated and assessed at the scene, with no transport required.
Tuesday night, an officer responded to the 400 block of Webster Street for illegal burning. A resident was burning household trash and was advised that trash burning is prohibited within city limits. The fire was extinguished.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and followed up on several investigations.
