The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 121 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.

Friday, officers investigated a semi-truck that reportedly struck a canopy on South Washington Street and left the scene. Officers also responded to a reported theft, a verbal domestic disturbance, and a hit-and-run involving a person on an electric bicycle. The suspect driver in that case was identified and later released with citations. Officers also arrested a person on an active warrant.

Saturday, officers made a DWI arrest following a traffic stop at Polk and Washington Streets. The driver was cited and released following further investigation and a blood draw. Officers also handled a two-vehicle parking lot crash and a careless-driving complaint.

Sunday, officers investigated a bad-check complaint involving more than one-thousand dollars in losses. The case remains under investigation. Officers also conducted two well-being checks and responded to a commercial burglary alarm, which was determined to be a false alarm with no signs of forced entry.
