The Chillicothe High School is celebrating Homecoming this week, as they prepare for the 2026 Homecoming Game on Friday against Cameron. The theme for Homecoming is Beyond The Second Star, Adventure Awaits… CHS Principal Dan Nagel announced the Royalty candidates for this year.
Queen: Dawson Baxter, Lydia Bonderer, Sophie Hurtgen, Landry Marsh, and Jasmine McLean
King: Brennen Fitzpatrick, Henry Hurtgen, Logan Murrell, Max Probasco, Cooper Robinson.
The remaining royalty include:
Freshman Attendants: Blaire Beetsma, Mason Baker, Quinlyn Marsh, and John Bailey
Sophomore Attendants: Aislynn Burch, Turner Jackson, Jordan Foster, and Paxton Keith
Junior Attendants: Brynley Beemer, Max Cranmer, Khia Oliver, Ben Cady
Chillicothe Schools will dismiss early Friday, with the Homecoming Parade beginning at 2:00 pm.
The parade will follow the normal parade route of
- Washington Street: From Polk Street south to Ann Street
- Ann Street: East to Locust Street
- Locust Street: North to Calhoun Street
