Green Hills Regional Planning Commission hosts a public meeting for The Thompson Watershed Plan. GHRPC was awarded a Missouri DNR Section 319 Nonpoint Source Subgrant to develop a 9-element watershed-based plan for the Thompson River Watershed. Missouri DNR is writing the watershed plan, and the planning commission is facilitating stakeholder engagement and outreach.

The E. coli levels are now at a level where there should be no body contact.
She says the goal of the plan is to bring the E.coli levels back down to safe levels.
The Commission invites community members, landowners, and stakeholders who live in Harrison, Mercer, Grundy, Daviess, or Livingston Counties to attend a public meeting on Wednesday, October 28th, at 6:30 PM at the GHRPC offices located at 810 Washington Street, in Trenton.
