Grand River Technical School is 1 of only 11 training partners across the entire state of Missouri to receive funding through the Rural Health Transformation Program, to expand training and strengthen our state’s rural EMS workforce.
The State of Missouri received $4.2 Million for the initial Year 1 state investment dedicated to growing rural EMS professionals.
Statewide, 437 trainees were selected and began funded EMT and Paramedic training for the 2026–2027 academic year. That figure includes 16 receiving EMT training and 20 receiving paramedic training at GRTS.
