The Chillicothe Lady Hornet golf team finished fourth at the 2026 MEC Girls Golf Tournament Monday at Duncan Hills Golf Course in Savannah, posting a team score of 450.
Chillicothe was led by Libbie Bonderer, who carded a 43 on the front nine and 55 on the back for a 98, finishing ninth individually. Bonderer received all-conference honors for her top 10 finish. Harper Horsman followed with a 106, while Emerson Brobst shot 113 and Piper Guthrie finished with a 133.
Savannah captured the team championship with a 380, followed by Maryville at 388 and Benton at 441. Chillicothe finished ahead of Excelsior Springs (535), Bishop LeBlond (537) and Cameron (556).
Savannah’s Zaylin Vega claimed individual medalist honors with a 91. Benton’s Kyndall Hubbard and Maryville’s Halle Zimmerman tied for second at 92, while Maryville’s Avonlea Mitchell finished fourth at 93.
