Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants

Missouri Community colleges will receive nearly $10.8 million as part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants Program.  This is a Federal investment that will strengthen career training and pathways to in-demand jobs across Missouri.

The investment will allow the community colleges to continue building their capacity to prepare students for high-demand careers while responding to the evolving workforce needs of employers throughout the region.

NCMC President Dr. Jamie Hooyman said, “North Central Missouri College is proud to collaborate with our fellow Missouri community colleges. We are excited to do our part in helping more students prepare for successful careers in the workforce.”
