Nearly 100 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Thursday.
Officers investigated the death of a woman found inside a Walnut Street residence early Thursday morning. The Livingston County Coroner responded, and the woman was taken to a funeral home.
Police also investigated the theft of a new vehicle from a business in the 1900 block of Washington Street. That investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Chillicothe Police.
Other calls included an accidentally activated business alarm, a well-being check, and a report of a masked person knocking on a door on Olive Street. No criminal activity was confirmed in that incident.
Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, and follow-up investigations.
