The annual re-bulbing of the Chillicothe Snowflake lights will be on October 27th at the CMU Warehouse. The work will begin at 4:30 pm. Each year, volunteers come together to help prepare the decorative streetlight snowflakes that illuminate downtown Chillicothe throughout the holiday season.
The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is asking volunteers to contribute approximately one hour of their time to assist with the re-bulbing and preparation of the snowflakes.
Rebecca TenHulzen, Executive Director of the Chamber says, “This is one of those wonderful opportunities for our community to come together and make a difference. These snowflakes are a special part of Chillicothe’s holiday traditions, and with just a little time and teamwork, we can help keep our downtown shining bright throughout the season.”
Individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations are encouraged to participate. Volunteers are welcome to simply show up ready to lend a hand.
