The City of Chillicothe has given notice of a general non-partisan election to be held April 6th of 2027. The election is to allow qualified voters to select the individuals who will fill the offices of:
Mayor
Councilman At Large
1st Ward Councilman
2nd Ward Councilman
3rd Ward Councilman
4th Ward Councilman
City Clerk, City Auditor, City Treasurer, City Attorney, and City Constable.
Those elected to office will serve a term of two years from the time of the election.
Filing of candidates for the election will take place at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, from 8:00 am on December 15th to 5:00 p.m. on January 5. The filing fee for the candidates is $20.
