An accident late Friday night in the community of Lake Viking in Daviess County, left one driver injured and both drivers arrested. State Troopers report 73 year old Donna Redden of Altamont was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries following the accident at about 11:30 pm. The report states Redden was northbound on Lake Viking Terrace and pulled into the path of the southbound vehicle driven by 39 year old Patrick Bottcher of Gallatin, resulting in a collision.
Both drivers were arrested for alleged DWI. Redden was released for treatment. Bottcher was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
