The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 67 calls for service Monday. Some of the calls include:
7:25 am, Complaint of dogs running loose in the 10 block of E. Third Street. The owner was contacted and given a warning.
10:06 am, Officer stopped a vehicle for a registration violation and discovered the driver was suspended, had no insurance, and expired license plates. The driver was arrested, processed, and released.
11:42 am, Complaint of a person out of control in the 600 block of Sunset Avenue. That person was calmed down and given transportation to Hedrick Medical Center for assistance.
1:56 pm, an individual surrendering themselves on an active warrant.
4:31 pm, Officers assisting with a loose dog in the area of Highland and Webster Street. The owner was contacted and the dog returned.
5:22 pm, Report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident at the junction of US 36 and US 65. A tractor-trailer struck a car in the rear end. The crash is still being investigated. No vehicles were towed.
6:25 pm, Officer assisted at the hospital with an unruly, intoxicated person.
