The Chillicothe Volleyball team evened their record to 5 an 5 with three-set home victory over the Lafayette Lady Irish 25-16, 25-20 and 25-21.
Coach Robert Long said his Lady Hornets team showed their exceptional athleticism with 43 digs on the evening.
In individual statistics: Delanie Kieffer had 3 kills, 2 aces, 8 digs and 1 block. Izzie Montgomery had a kill, 2 aces and 2 digs. Ella Leamer had 4 aces and 6 digs. Maya Snyder had 5 kills, 14 assists, 11 aces and 5 digs. Anna Fisher had 2 kills, 3 aces and 2 digs. Jessica Reeter had 14 assists, 3 aces and 6 digs. Gracie West had 2 aces, 2 blocks and 8 kills. Makayla Vance had 2 digs and Essie Hicks had 13 kills, 7 aces and 12 digs.
Hornet JV lost 21-25 and 17-25. Trista Tipton led the team with 5 kills and 2 aces. Halle Hill had 10 assists
Hornet Freshmen split sets 18-25 and 25-21. Jenna Hicks had five service points in the second set, including the game winner.
