The Chillicothe Hornets will try to extend their football season when they play at Richmond tonight in the District Semifinal game. The #4 seed Hornets are coming off an overtime win against St Joseph Benton. Richmond had a first round bye last week.
Richmond Coach Nick Pursell, who played in the 2004 Quarterfinal game against Chillicothe, says he likes to try and run a balanced offense.
Chillicothe Coach Tim Rulo says he should have more players available that have been injured. He says Richmond’s Defense is also impressive.
Richmond is 7-1 on the season. They missed playing Oak Grove, and had to replace scheduled Pembroke Hill with Southern Boone, which is their only loss on their season.
