The Cory and Stacy Surber family of Wheeling were this year’s Livingston County representatives for the 60th annual Missouri Farm Family Day at the Missouri State Fair.
The Surber family was selected as the Livingston County Missouri Farm Family by University of Missouri Extension in Livingston County and the local Farm Bureau.
Cory is a row crop and cattle farmer in Livingston County and runs a repair service for several area ag producers and coops. Stacy teaches science at Chillicothe High School and sponsors the Jr Executive Committee, assists the Hunting and Fishing Club, leads student trips to Costa Rica, and is a volunteer for PATCH program.
Their children include: Marissa, a Jr at Missouri University of Science and Technology studying environmental engineering, Levi, a sophomore at Northwest Missouri State University studying agriculture and Emma, a 6th grader at Chillicothe Middle School.
