Investigation Ends With Two Arrests

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Chillicothe Police Department completed an investigation that led to the arrest of two Chillicothe men on Wednesday.

The Livingston County Sheriff, Steve cox says they had been investigating 39-year-old Kevin R. Head, who had been wanted on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on original three felony violations of alleged Possession of Controlled Substance-Meth, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Receiving Stolen Property.

The investigation led to an apartment in the 800 block of Calhoun Street, where the occupants refused to comply with demands to open the door.  Sheriff Cox obtained a search warrant and officers from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, Chillicothe Police, and Missouri State Highway Patrol executed the search and arrest warrants.

39-year-old Kevin R. Head eventually surrendered.  The search led to additional items of evidence that were seized including alleged methamphetamine, multiple items of distribution equipment, and other items.

Deputies also arrested 25-year-old Dylan E. Head of Chillicothe for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Hindering Prosecution-felony.

Kevin Head was also arrested on a new charge of alleged Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
