If you are planning on fishing this weekend, your current license is still valid, but come Monday, you will need a new one.
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) reminds residents that their annual permits expire at the end of February. Those permits include the 2020 permits for small game, fishing, trout fishing, and combination hunting and fishing.
The Missouri hunting and fishing permits are available from many vendors around the state, online at mdc.mo.gov/buypermits, or through MDC’s free mobile apps, MO Hunting and MO Fishing.
The MDC says you can avoid having to renew permits each year by using MDC’s Permit Auto-Renewal Service.
