The Chillicothe Police Chief announced several street closings for events in the coming months. Chief Maples says the organizations hosting the events have applied to his office for the closings. They include:
September 15th – Kiwanis Kid’s Day Parade. Webster Street will close from 8:00 am to 11:00 am for parade line up. The parade route will be closed from 10:00 to 11:00. The route is Webster Street to Washington, Washington to Clay, Clay to Locust and Locust to Webster Street.
September 29th – 3rd Annual Quinn Memorial Run. Streets will close around St. Columban’s Church closed from 7:45 to 9:00 am. An officer will also escort the run.
September 30th – St Columban’s Church’ Fall Festival. Trenton Street will close from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The closure is from JFK to 10th Street.
October 5th – Main Street Chillicothe’s Wine Walk. With Webster Street closed from Locust to Washington Streets, beginning at 5:00 pm and continuing to 11:00 pm.
