The Chillicothe Lady Hornets soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss in double overtime at Mid Buchanan. Mid-Buck scored with six minutes left in the second overtime for the win.
Lady Hornets Coach Jimmy Chapman said his team didn’t play bad, but also did not capitalize on their chances. He credited Mid Buchanan being able to contain the Chillicothe forwards, and said their goalkeeper “played a very good game”.
Coach Chapman said Mid Buchanan beat Chillicothe with physicality and said the Lady Hornets couldn’t use their athletic advantage like they did in the first game against the Lady Dragons.
Chillicothe plays at St Joseph Bishop LeBlond on Monday.
