Players, Coaches and Families celebrated a record setting season at the annual Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer Banquet.
Chillicothe Varsity finished 15-8 and the Junior Varsity was 10-3-1. The Varsity finished second in District and fourth in Conference. Coach Jimmy Chapman said the six Seniors were key to the successful season.
Chapman said records set this year included Lucy Reeter with goals in a single game with six, assists in a single game with four, goals in a season with 28 and assists in a season with 22. Allie Italiano set a record for Goalkeeper saves in a game with 25 in the conference game against Maryville.
The team set a record with 74 goals in a season. Chapman pointed out 12 different players scored and 12 different players had an assist this season. He also said 23 different players started in a game and every player saw playing time in a game this season.
