State Troopers report a couple of arrests for the area counties.
Shortly after 9:00 pm in Ray County, Troopers arrested 51-year-old Scherilan F Edwards of Carrollton and 28-year-old William Pratt of Kansas City. Both were arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Pratt was also arrested for alleged unlawful possession of a firearm. Edwards had additional charges of alleged speeding and no insurance.
Both were taken to the Ray County Jail on 24 hour holds.
