After four years of planning, design, and construction, a new $420,000 playground at Simpson Park is OFFICIALLY open. The Ribbon Cutting ceremony marked that official step that Park Superintendent Josh Norris says opens an All-Inclusive Playground to the community. Norris says this playground required assistance from several people, including the Friends of the Chillicothe Parks.
Norris says they worked hard to make sure this playground could be used by everyone.
Other features include drainage to allow the playground to be used very soon after a rain and a surface that is less likely to cause injury if someone falls.
