New Playground Officially Opened
After four years of planning, design, and construction, a new $420,000 playground at Simpson Park is OFFICIALLY open. The Ribbon Cutting ceremony marked that official step that Park Superintendent Josh Norris says opens an All-Inclusive Playground to the community. Digger Derrick Approved
The Chillicothe City Council approved a request from CMU. CMU General Manager Matt Hopper requested approval of the new Digger Derrick for the Electric Services Department. The cost of the new truck is $223,495. The truck is on a 12-year replacement schedule
