The Trenton City Council voted NO on two items presented at their meeting. The first was the designation of the Downtown Historic District.
That is City Administration Ron Urton. He says the council rejected the designation on a 7-0 vote.
The Trenton council also rejected an increase in the Trenton Electric Rate.
That amounts to $4 per month per meter. The City was also asking for an additional $3 per month per meter to cover rising expenses. Urton says the council rejected the increase and chose to dip into the reserves for the time being.
