A motorcycle accident Monday night left the rider with serious injuries. State Troopers in Grundy County report 27-year-old Thomas J Morrison of Hatfield was northbound on Missouri 146 when a deer attempted to jump over the rider. The rider was struck in the head and was knocked out, losing control. The bike ran off the east side of the road and struck an embankment and overturned. Morrison was flown to Mosaic Lifecare Center in St. Joseph for treatment of serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
