The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has been asked to participate in recent and upcoming parades for community functions. Sheriff Steve Cox says three Deputies were asked to handle these duties.
For the Wheeling Labor Day Parade, Deputy Nicholas Leadbetter handled the responsibilities.
This week:
- Chief Deputy Michael Claypole to lead the Chillicothe Homecoming Parade Friday afternoon.
- Saturday, Deputy Dustin Woelfle will assist in leading Kiwanis Kids Day Parade alongside Police Chief Jon Maples.
- Immediately following, Deputy Woelfle will be in Chula and lead the Chula Parade.
Sheriff Cox says the Deputies are welcome to have family/friends/pets accompany them in the patrol vehicles for the parades.
