Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

Saturday, officers responded to 94 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

9:49 am, Officers assisting another agency in attempting to locate a vehicle that had been involved in a vehicle accident.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was located in Brookfield.

3:41 pm, a 19-year-old came to the PD to turn themselves in on a Chillicothe Municipal Warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of No Insurance.  Bond was posted and they were released.

5:09 pm, Officers made a traffic stop for speeding in the 300 block of S. Washington Street.   The 50-year-old driver was found to be suspended. They were arrested, processed, and released with citations.

5:33 pm, Officers responded to Hedrick Medical Center for a child having been bitten in the face by a dog.  The bite occurred near Gravesville Park and the parent of the child and the owner of the dog has been contacted by Officers.  The Investigation continues.

7:30 pm, Officer conducted a traffic stop on U.S. HWY 36 & CC HWY.   During the traffic stop, discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s license.   A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and the officers located drug paraphernalia.   The driver was placed under arrest, processed & released.

 

Sunday, there were 71 calls for service.  They include:

12:59 PM Officers responded to the 500 block of Cowgill Street for a medical emergency. EMS determined the person had passed away.

3:55 PM, Officers responded to the 1200 block of Alexander Street to conduct a wellbeing check.  EMS was requested to respond.  The person was taken to Hedrick Medical Center.

6:12 PM, Officers responded to the intersection of Bus 36 Hwy and Washington Street for a two-vehicle accident.  No injuries were reported.
