Resurfacing work begins Monday for a portion of Route 139 from the Iowa line to Highway 6 in Sullivan County. The Missouri Department of Transportation contractor, Norris Asphalt Paving, will mill and resurface Route 139. The work begins Monday. Completion is anticipated by the first week of November.
During the work, the road will be narrowed to one lane with motorists directed through the work zone using flaggers and a pilot car.
