The Chillicothe bands traveled to Carrollton over the weekend for the annual Carrollton Band Days program. Chillicothe placed 5th in their class and had a strong performance in the music and corner performance of the parade. Band Director Sarah Cavanaugh says they look forward to improving their skills for the next competition, the Cameron MarchFest on October 20th.
Cavanaugh says that is the same day as the Missouri Days/Trenton Band Day, but they feel it it’s time to try a different festival.
She says they hope that since it’s still so close to Chillicothe, they we will have many come out to support the band in the parade and indoor drumline competition.
