Imagine that you lived on the Missouri side of the Iowa or Arkansas state line, but your official postal address showed you lived on the OTHER side of the state line.
That was the case for several Missouri residents until a Missouri elected official contacted US Postmaster General Megan Brennan.
The address fix required a bill to be introduced in the United States Senate and passed before something was done that could potentially affect residents across the country.
The Postmaster General recently announced that after working with the affected resident, changes have been made and the residents now have a Missouri mailing address.
