Deputies arrest two after traffic stop

Two people were arrested following a recent traffic stop by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department on Highway 190 west of Chillicothe.
Officers stopped the vehicle after suspecting a possible intoxicated driver. According to a Sheriff’s Department spokesman, the deputy was allegedly verbally assaulted by a passenger who would not comply with the Deputy’s instructions.
Two Chillicothe Police Officers assisted in the arrest of Joycelynn Lavonne Still, 28 of Chillicothe under arrest for alleged Domestic Violence, failing to comply with lawful orders and resisting arrest. Still reportedly had to be physically removed from the vehicle.
Also arrested was Roy Austin Yeomans, 30 of Chillicothe for alleged driving while intoxicated.
Yeomans was issued a citation and released to a responsible person. Still was taken to the Daviess DeKalb County Regional Jail and later officially charged with alleged resisting/Interfering with Arrest.
