Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a pickup speeding on Highway 36 near Mooresville with three occupants. After a search of the vehicle, officers seized a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine, possible drug distribution equipment and other similar paraphernalia.
Officers arrested 38 year old Miranda Nicole Adams of Chillicothe for alleged possession of controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia. She has since been charged in court with a Class D felony. Other potential arrests are pending lab results.
Officers recently continued a drug investigation in the 200 block of North State Street in Wheeling and seized small amounts of a variety of drugs, paraphernalia and prescription medication. Authorities arrested 52 year old Dorothy Marie Berry and 48 year old Nora Pearl Evans, both of Wheeling. Evans was charged with a Class D Felony and Berry was released pending the examination of evidence by the Highway Patrol Crime Lab.
Other Sheriff Department drug investigations include a traffic stop of a Wheeling resident and an investigation at a residence on Old Highway 190.
