An 84-year-old Kidder resident had serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Old US 36, two miles east of Cameron, Sunday afternoon. State Troopers report 84-year-old Nellie V Hughes was driving a pick-up eastbound and ran off the east side of the road, striking a utility sign and a tree. Hughes was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
