Volleyball
The Chillicothe Middle School 8th grade volleyball teams both picked up wins over Cameron on Monday.
The Chillicothe 8th Grade A team won 25-17 and 25-14. They were led by Jessica Reeter with 13 points and Belle Englert with 12 points. The team remains undefeated on the season
The Chillicothe 8th grade B team won 25-9 and 25-12, led by Macy Kincade with 16 points and Myra Englert with 11 points.
The Chillicothe 7th Grade Volleyball team ran into tough competition and lost to Cameron at Chillicothe on Monday.
The 7th Grade A team lost 4-25 and 13-25. Macy Johnson led Chillicothe with 3 service points in each set. The B team lost 16-25 and `14-25. Alivia Gerhart led in service points with 5 in the first set and several girls led in the 2nd set with 2 service points each
Cross Country
The Chillicothe Middle School cross country teams did well at the Savannah Invitational over the weekend. In the Girls race, Aliyah Briner continues to be impressive with another individual first place win, crossing the finish line 31 seconds ahead of the second place runner. Makinna Arr was 5th, Sophie Ellis 8th, Bronlyn Ward 10th and Candice DeMaris 13th. The CMS Girls team was 2nd place overall.
The Middle School Boys had Gunner Harrison in 10th place, Steven Skaggs in 20th and Gabe Hansen in 21st place.
